Samsung A54 5G phone equipped with eSIM or not?

I will keep it mind, thank you.

Samsung A54 5G phone equipped with eSIM or not?

I am looking for a mid budget phone with eSIM and the A54 (if it does support eSIM) and Pixel 6A looks like the best options. The Pixel for 299 pounds seems to be a good option. Wife is going to England later this week and she can hopefully buy one for me - and maybe also claim the VAT back :)

Samsung A54 5G phone equipped with eSIM or not?

It seems that there are more than one version of the A54. The versions in USA and I think Europe have a nano sim and an eSIM. The uncertainty lies with the version available in SA, as I said that Samsung SA replied to me that the South African version does support eSIM, which local shops says is...

Samsung A54 5G phone equipped with eSIM or not?

If anyone has a Samsung A54 phone, please confirm if it is equipped with a eSIM or not. Samsung SA stated via an email to me that the phones selling in SA are equipped with eSIMs, but my local Vodacom and Samsung shops says that the phone does not support eSIM. Confirmation either way will be...

Great album by one of the best local bands from the late sixties. Their second album, Soulfire!! Is even better.

Source Quality: When does a high end sound system become a PIA ?

I do not have a cd player in my system, only listen via two turntables, one with a mm cart and one with a mc cart. While the mc cart sounds fantastic on a good pressing and recording, the mm cart sounds better on older (second hand) records or poor pressings/recordings. Yes, sometimes a mp3...

    Whats on the TT...

Thanks for sharing. Did not know they have a new album. I have their second album, “In the Past” from 1974. I will have a listen.

    Lowest resolution

I can hear the difference between 128 and 320, but not much between 320 and flac. I am sure it is due to my 60+ old ears, and believe that younger ears can hear the difference between compressed and lossless files.

Last one for the night. One cannot listen to Christine Perfect and not to Chicken Shack. The very best of - german pressing of 1990.

Christine Perfect’s (McVie) self-titled first solo album (1970). A great late evening listen. R.I.P.

Some late evening listening: Sam Cooke - R&B / soul singer/songwriter from early sixties. Died far too young!

    Losing interest

I cannot imagine life without music. Surely, the time spend listening to music will vary from day to day according your schedule. And with the easy access to new music these days, like Youtube, and the suggested new/alternative music that these channels provides, should keep one interested. But...

What you paid for AV Items vs What you told your Wife/GF/So you paid for it ?

I guess I am lucky - my wife never ask what it cost and I don’t offer to share that info. 😁

    Whats on the TT...

Grayson Capps - South Front Street (2020). He is an American blues rock singer-songwriter. Most of my blues lp’s are from the sixties, but he is worth a listen if you are into blues rock.

Stoneground‘s self-titled debut album (1970). USA band from California. Great mix of blues, country, funk and rock. The album featured 7 different lead vocalists!

    Whats on the TT...

Louie and The Lovers - Rise (1970) Mexican-American band’s only album. They were influenced by Creedence Clearwater Revival. Definitely worth a listen.

    Disgusted with SA Post Office

Yes, it seems that 2 to 3 months are their normal delivery time. Although I complain about SA Post Office, they fail to deliver an international package only once (out of more than 150). I can confirm that Juno shipping cost is the cheapest by far (and its insured). I also cannot pay R800 plus...
