Thanks, will be reading up on them. I had the new PSB Imagine T3 for a while, excellent sounding speakers and can highly recommend them.. But in my room they did not have the "Slam" and immediacy i wanted. The older Synchrony One's to me did a better job at that, but wasn't as open as the T3's...

The lead from TT to Phono, M12 has built in phono stage. Will say this the TT is sitting between 2 VA Genesis Mono's...possibly pick up the noise form them? But then again i tested the TT on another amp and the hum was there but much less..

Crashappy No, hum is gone when the IC are unplugged, so thinking its not the phono stage. Will get another TT and test on the same setup to see what happens...

That's a tough one ... everyone has strong and weak points in my listening. 3 that stood out was Focal's Beryllium tweeters, Magnepan 3.7i Ribbon tweeter and Mission EX800 Viotex tweeters. Best balanced for me has to be the Ribbon tweeter of the Magnepans..

They retail for R11990 at Ultrasound, only 2k more than a Sonos Connect and i think you get a lot more for the money.
