I have always installed Carrier or TCL, installations across Sabie to Nelspruit area and no power issues. 5 year warranty on TCL compressor and 3 on body/electrics. Carrier has 3 and 1 year. Samsung very good as well as Mitsubishi. All have good after sales if using a reputable installer.

I picked up a 1001 and 1200. Started on the 1001....the fine speed control had to get loosened up with a big pair of wire pliers before I could get it working. Both tables have original stylus and they look ok.

Read up on a guy uses hvac oil on fan motors, and says perfect for sintered brass. Some motors been running for 24/7 for years. I do hvac and there are 2 basic oils we use, a 32 Ester oil (very thin) and a 68 Mineral oil. Haven't tried it out yet.

Sl1210 used 70000 but drops a bit quick. Google said 350 to 500k

Hey everyone my eldest son (12) has dyslexia and apparently there is a device called a reader or scanner pen. Does anybody have any info to share.

So I read today on vinyl engine that the Dl 110 requires a heavier headshell than the standard one if you gonna use it on a Sl1200. What I dont understand is you set your vtf at lets say 1.8g how does a heavier headshell matter?

Thats why i asked, anybody perhaps had or got one?
