Watching Deadbeat, pretty funny show

Watched American Sniper with DTS 5.1 audio and to me it sounds pretty great, the shots come from all over but you can make out the direction and the sound of the wind during the sand storm is very clear and amazing.

So multichannel basically detects if it is either Dd/Dts?

Hi another question, when connecting the ps4 sound to the receiver and setting it to PCM it does not show as DD/DTS but when I check the audio it says it is on multi channel is this correct?

What do yo mean by saying "cross them over"? Does the dynamic EQ affect sound quality? I have done the automated setup and its setup everything pretty great, but i think the frequency is set lower than 120Hz, so you would suggest changing it?
