How often should I wash my earpads + headband cushion? Frequent washing would probably cause faster wear and tear. Once a week/month/year/never(replace with new pads)? Also how often should we change earpads?

I see that amazon has Brainwavz earpad replacement for around 25-30$. Are there any other brands around? I checked eBay and most of the earpads seems to be shipped from Shenzhen. Ordered 3 different things over the years from eBay that ships from Shenzhen and they get lost by SAPO every time.
