Music during loadshedding - Chipamp - speakers and ????

I see you don't need the online streaming from the likes of Tidal, you want to stream your own content. Raspberry Pi can create it's own WiFi network (no router required). Then it can be Logitech Media Server and the Player also. So, it's just the Pi that you would have to power next to the Chip...

    Med8er good for music?

Well, it was connected via analog out to one of the old stereo amp w/o digital inputs. Compared against a Pioneer DVD player with media playing from USB stick. I was more happy with the Pioneer. I would definitely use the DAC on the amp or external DAC than the Mede8er internal DAC.

    Med8er good for music?

Personally, I felt the bass to be little muddy on the mede8ter. Even I would prefer something (media player) which can feed the pre/pro/integrated. Not sure what options we have w/o spending too much.

Am I allowed to take speakers with me on a plane?

+1 I had the same experience with speakers in box. They (SAA) claimed that speakers interrupt the compass operation in the cockpit  :blah:. But, I did take some small 5.1 speaker set in suitcase without any issues. Yes, during online check-in you would notice magnetic equipment is now allowed...

    Pictures from Air Show 2015

Thank you all. Glad you liked the pics. I was there about one and half hours or so. There was a big crowd. My 2 yr old was not too comfortable with the noises of battle simulation. So I left early. Mango was surprising for me too. I actually clicked the mango from outside on my way home.

    Technics amp

Is it ok to use Q20 on the control pots. Reason I ask is when I bought an old Rotel integrated it had scratchy controls and also the sound on one channel was going on/off. I thought it might need service and took it to a guy. He just used Q20 on all the pots and it worked.
