I couldn't find Windows 10 drivers. They have Windows 7&8 as well xp drivers. The most recent (2016) are for the DSD version. I installed these, hop game they would work, but Windows still says it can't find drivers.

I agree, it is fairly complicated to set up. I bought one recently, but it has been in the box since, as I couldn't get the set up right. I have ordered Windows 10 from Amazon and hopefully the install will go smoothly, fingers crossed!

That's the reason I prefer FLAC as well. I agree with the previous post that processing power could be an issue, as most multimedia units in cars have a lot of memory. My car has a 40 gig built in hard drive, plus two slots for SD cards. Maybe in future someone in the auto industry will realise...

You are making very valid points. I suspect at the back of my mind, I am stuck in the belief that one needs more power than the speaker's rated power handling. Is there merit to this assumption?

I Agee. The height of the speaker would mean the TV would needs to be mounted very high, which is uncomfortable  in a small room. It wouldn't work.

Indeed. I suppose they had to lift the bar, as most of the technology on the current model had trickled down to the Gold series to an extend. Those PL500 looks mean!
