I popped into Mabu Vinyl in Cape Town for the first time last week. After about 10 minutes I found 11 Deutsche Grammophon labels all in excellent condition. But then it came to payment...what a ripoff...R30 each. :point: I've been invited to visit the 'garage' at Sugars house to do somemore...

I have the opportunity of acquiring 6500 albans in digital format saved at 192+ KB/sec. My idea is to purchase an Android tablet and an external HD. I have an iBasso D1 DAC that I use as a headphone amp. Will this work? Any other ideas for a cost effective solution?

I am in the process of revamping my equipment and after searching I found my cans. Would they still be considered of reasonable quality as they were quite sort after in the late 70's? Is there anyone in CT that can service them?

Beogram 1203 Turn Table, Beolab 1700 Amp and BoeVox 1200 speakers all bought in 1977 as a set. Nothing has been used for 20 yearsor so. I think the owner needs funds for a 'pacemaker'. I have no idea if the system is even working but I will proceed to set it up and test if there is any demand...
