Same here, Marantz SR7013 and Musical Fidelity A1 respond to the same remote. A bit frustrating sometimes but obviously have to make sure the volume is at 0 on the MF A1 before spinning a disc.

This is hurting too deep, I was just chatting to him last Saturday over the WBT connectors I bought from him. May his soul rest in peace.

I have the MF A1 2008 version which runs hot but cooler than the first generation. Both sides of the 2008 version are vented to improve the cooling system. It's a 36w per channel but it's got plenty of current to drive my NS-F700 floorstanders with ease! I never owned an amplifier that sounds...
