Just to highlight this is only the youtube functionality, the rest displays perfectly. I can still run youtube through the browser on mede8er however this is VERY cumbersome and takes all the fun out of it to be honest.

Hi all. Having a issue accessing youtube on mede8er connected via hdmi to emotiva umc1 in turn connected to optoma hd20 projector. Mede8er states my display device is not supported. Suspect it is because i have the umc1 in between. Only solution i can see is to connect mede8er to hd20 directly...

Also running 20m hdmi between projector and avr with no hassles. Initially had cat and had 2 slight surges in one week blew hdmi on cat receiver in both instances with no damage to projector or avr. Since switching to hmdi cable no hassles. Also seem to recall hdmi handshake issues over cat?

Ok using Ken's directions found the following. Emotiva was set to AUTO on video out, Onkyo was set to 1080i, seem to recall some game not displaying and we changed it to 1080i way back when and left it there. Changed the Emotiva to 1080i and i am now getting same display results so i am happy...
