Trying to set up LMS on an old PC with XP but the fields in the control panel remains inactive / blanked out. Also note the "possible software conflict" issue. Any advice please?

I once tried this with a 2TB but LMS took forever to scan and ended showing an error of some sort that it could not complete  :nfi: so I thought the storage is too big for LMS to read.

Cool, thanks. Have an old PC that I think I will set up for 24/7 duty for now and explore enabling itunes on lms. Then maybe move on to microserver later.

How do you guys keep your digital music readily available, i.e. Not starting servers, waiting to scan, etc??? I have Squeezebox touch on my pc linked to audiolab m-dac but I really like itunes and would rather use that to stream to audio equipment. Any clever ideas please!

Must say I had the KI pearl lite in mind specifically. When I bought my speakers they used the pearl to demo. Admittedly accoustics would have been better than my room at home but heck the speakers sounded out of this world. I have ever since had the CM9s hooked up to some powerfull Rotel amps...
