Pulled this out of a Tannoy mercury mx1. Very little to go on. No markings! Quite hefty for such a small driver. Any ideas? Thanks

Just finished watching "Oz the Great and Powerful", a bit dated, but the 7.1 really impressed. Had the whole room shaking especially the tornado scene.

I just love my Sonos setup. 3 x Connect:Amp and 1 x Connect feeding speakers in the entertainment areas. I feel the 24bit playback is a non-issue. I don't believe anyone would use Sonos or Bluesound for critical listening.

Yahoo! Turns out that all the motor needed was a bit of lubrication. PQSound also received a few more belt sizes including the one I was looking for. Needless to say, it's all put together again and singing. Still a few adjustments required, but none the less up and running.

Still waiting for the constuction to be completed. Taking forever! Been looking at decorative dampening.

Thanks, but not much chance of moving tv in there. AV / HT room is accomodating tv and projector. Need loads of space for watching rugby and movies. Diagonal setup may be a problem. What about wall hangings or panels? Speakers are large standmounts Mission 702 driven by Rotel RB-991 beast...

Having a few renovations done at home and the wife has generously allocated a small (3m x 3m) room for my stereo only system. My question is whether this space is practical or whether I should just stay with a larger room housing my AV and stereo systems together?
