And if Israel was to give in to their demands, can you say, with your hand on your heart, that Hamas would stop firing missiles into Israel? "From the river to the sea" and all that...

No, dude, answer the question properly. Your failure to do so, instead switching the question around, implies that you do not, in fact, have an answer to it.

So the UN report is an Israeli "story" and it's "made up & full of lies"?

No, dude, I'm simply calling a spade a spade. When an attack gets personal, it is to be called out and decried. And you will note that it is you who failed to respond to my earlier comment in this thread.

A fine example of 'whataboutism'. Some evidence of this bald claim (with the same strength as a report by the UN) is necessary.

I thought ad hominem attacks are prohibited in this thread and on this forum, @marantz123?

    No, I do not.

Quick one: @AlleyCat, do you condemn Hamas' terrorist actions? 'Yes' or 'No' only, please.

Not sure if it works the same way in the Cape but in the City of Joburg, sewerage and refuse bins are calculated according to stand size.

Jongensfontein is a gem - one of the few coastal villages without a squatter camp nearby.

Help needed with Blu ray player

I will give this a try in my scenario as I remember my AVR having updated at some point during the period between my Sony BDP player functioning perfectly and then not functioning so well... Thank you! I recall having checked this as part of my fault-finding mission but I'll check it again...

Help needed with Blu ray player

@jlaubza, I kid you not, I had EXACTLY the same problem with my setup - same brand of AVR and Blu-Ray player. See my thread here: Denon AVR & Sony BR Player: No Changes but Suddenly No Sound from Blu-Ray Player. I never could figure the problem out. I eventually landed up buying an LG 4K player...

How many of you like the sound system in your car?

In my 7.5 GTi, it certainly did. I'm not a bass junkie but when you turned it up, it thumped quite convincingly. The subwoofer built into the hollow end of the spare wheel definitely worked well. It won't break any SPL records but it was definitely enough for me.

Thanks! It's plenty of fun, you almost forget the need for a decent sound setup!

How many of you like the sound system in your car?

Seconded - my 7.5 GTI's Dynaudio setup was superb. It took a little while to optimise it but once there, the sound was far better than I expected. When I bought the car, the Dynaudio system (with the larger touchscreen) was one of the non-negotiable options. I put a Kenwood touchscreen unit...

Would you be willing to sell the 8310? I had one years ago and I loved the fact that it was so small. I'd use it on my mountain-biking trips because it's far more hardy than the current touchscreen phones.
