It's really frustrating when you see something you need, pay you deposit and then aren't able to buy anything.

I've "attended" a few online in Cape Town and had the same frustrations. Wine Auctions from restaurants that closed and then a home goods one as well. In both cases, the selling prices were close to retail. For second hand goods. We also ended up not buying anything.

I'm really interested in going solar (grid tied) in the next few months so will need batteries. But I haven't even started getting quotes yet or educating myself properly as to what I'll need. I'm probably going to kick myself a few months down the road that I missed out on this.

What device is that Dustin and does it send 4k video to your projector and non 4k audio to your avr? Unfortunately as you have pointed out, the optical cable unfortunately didn't work well. Avr is getting stereo only.  :walled:

I thanks for the advice everyone.  :thumbs: I think I'm going to get an optical cable as recommended by Dustin, hide the cable best I can. This gives me time while I keep an eye out for a 2nd hand 4k avr at a price I can afford.

That's where I am as well but I hate the inefficiency. Means a single source as well. Or swapping hdmi cables each time.  :sd:

Hi Has anybody been able to get this combination to work? SB Touch to Nuprime udsd via USB cable to Exclame via Analog rca.  :thinking: the Squeezebox picks up the dac but no sound is coming through. Switching the USB connection to my laptop, it works fine.  :nfi: Regards Craig

What's the photo print quality like Wolla?

Hi gents We have 2 young kids and spend a lot (too much probably) time snapping pics. What is a good printer for printing some of those precious moments? To be used later for school projects as well etc. Decent printing quality with not too expensive ink cost a priority. Cheers Craig

It's time to revisit this I guess. I've been using Plex for a while now on my Samsung tv and I'm fedup with it. I just hope my tv supports/has Kodi in the app store.
