I'd have to say my Camera equipment. Got myself a Canon 450D with too many accessories. Although I'm just starting out in AV, so the photography is still ahead of the AV, for now. ;)

My parents have owned a 42" Sinotec Full HD LCD for over a year now and they're very happy with it. It's not quite as good as an LG or Sony but then again they're in a different price bracket, and the difference is negligible at best. For the price, the Sinotec LCD TVs are great.
