Abe (Viagara) in hospital - critical

Their plugs are crap ;D I did see a couple of things that I can't explain though. For instance Christa started telling me what she told her son and I stopped her after a few words and verbatim completed what she said two days before - I "heard" that conversation! There was also once when the...

Abe (Viagara) in hospital - critical

Hi Guys Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, I am sure it made a difference. I have recovered quite well and am still recovering each day. It seems that the fluids is almost under control and the great thing is that for every litre lost, I am 1kg less. Legs are still a bit rubbery, but...

Amp Reserve Power & Brute Wattage needed even at Low Volumes?

Ross, that is like removing your speaker cables, listening to the sound and then connecting the speaker wires and proclaiming that speaker cables make a difference ;D

Amp Reserve Power & Brute Wattage needed even at Low Volumes?

Or a damping factor of 400? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D There is off course the extreme of a damping factor of 800 such as in the Nuforce P9 monoblocs ;)

Speaker options for a NAD 3020e

Many moons ago I had a 3020 paired with some Mordaunt-Shorts, which I later replaced with a set of B&W DM560's. The MS' sounded okay, but the B&W's was a huge improvement. As mentioned originally the 3020 was paired with AR18 and AR28's and at that stage I was seriously impressed with the...

Amp Reserve Power & Brute Wattage needed even at Low Volumes?

I was tempted to bring damping factor into the equation, but resisted the temptation ;D Its quite simple, the higher the damping factor on your amp or amps, the better the control of the speakers  :o Okay, let me sit back and see which direction this goes now ::)

    R93 000 water bill

Probably think there's more k@k on the West Rand, although the East is one of my least favorite places in JHB. Then again, why should I complain, I am in Cape Town ;D
