One thing I can tell @AlleyCat is that your listing position /microphone is in a low frequency null. This could also be a speaker placement issue, where the speakers are cancelling in the bass region.
You have it the wrong way around @AlleyCat. The Magico would be the bargain.
In fact, buy those Magico second hand today, and you’d still be 20 years ahead of Vivid.
