Have to agree here. I have the Amplifi HD system at home and it is superb. Easy to install, configure and manage.

Judging by Sunday's game, all the boks will be home on Monday anyway :)

As some have said, the original cause of the split should perhaps be revisited and understood. Having said that, it would make sense to have one section but perhaps split into "Amplification", "Speakers", "Sources", "Cables" etc. Either way, if I was wanting to buy/sell, all that would matter...

I am certainly no expert, but the way I see it... there is no such thing as a "digital pre"? The digital surely refers to an on-board/integrated DAC to which digital sources can be attached. I know the Pre32 does that (the MM30? is the DAC module). I have also owned an RC1590. Lots of digital...

Seems that there are many passionate opinions about a "pointless topic"... :) I think and hope that CD's will still be around for many years to come. Yes, music is a business, and any business exists to eek profits out of a target market. Whether or not the streaming titans kill off their own...

Can vouch for that... Those Turnberry's are really something special for that money... There is only one other that I would consider, but Achim already knows about this :)
