I agree with most here, go listen to some speakers, and get an idea of what you like. I got the Wharfedale Diamonds 10.7s as fronts, the Diamond 10.5s as rears, and a Diamond 10.CS center, all for under R5k. And, I've listened to a lot of other speakers... value for money, you cant beat the...

I had Wharfedale Diamond 10.6 hooked up to a Pioneer vsx921.... for your taste in music they will work beautifully. They are really cheap to!!! Give them a bit of space and enjoy the sound. They really rock.

I've bought my surround system for a faction of the cost due to the Wharfedale prices of late!!! Call Audiosure and enquire about the wharfedale Diamond 10 series. The are real value for money at this stage.

Get your 10.1s to the front and hear what they sound like... the 10.6s does not have a dedicated mid driver. Might be good to see if it is the speakers, or the AVR settings... just something I would have tried.

AudioSure still have stock, but not of the 10.2s. Give them a call. I picked up a pair of 10.5s from the last week. At a very good price!

I might be a bit of STUPID right now, but if the digital outs (ex HDMI) is used into the Receiver, wont any BRP sound equal? It is a digital stream decoded by the same processor (in this case the receiver).  :help:

Many thanks, I hope I can work something out. But it seems the Zone 2 outputs is the same as the Bi-Amp outputs. If I can reassign the outputs, it will work. Will play tonight with the app and check what I can come up with.
