    Optoma HD28DSE Fan Locked

Thanks man, seems I figured it all out after all, after trying a 100 combinations I finally got into the menu... Seems the fan I bought doesn't even come close to the rpm that the original did, seems to be a counterfeit of some sorts.. Q20 in the original fan seems to have temporarily sorted out...

    Optoma HD28DSE Fan Locked

Hi all, I have a Optoma HD28DSE and the blower fan's bearings packed up, managed to get a replacement fan, however the projector is shutting down with FAN LOCKED error even after the fan is replaced. I confirmed that both fans are working just fine... I would like to get into the extended...

    So.....How now??

Hmmm, i have to say that i dont suffer from the same problem, my Yamaha RX-A1030 has more power than my speakers can handle.. Perhaps a better AVR will help, otherwise i can build you quite a nice Power Amp for your floorstanders  ;) Just plug it into the Front Pre-Out like i run my current system.

Lightning took out PC, how long does insurance take to replace

Good Luck with your insurance Timber, i recently suffered 2 hits on separate occasions.. Both times my AVR and Projector was taken out, via the HDMI ports as the cable ran next to my DSL line, i have now changed that... Both times it took Renasa about 3 weeks to pay out.

Thanks @Wolla, those are the good days, salvaging any speaker you can get your hands on and build your system with that, i thoroughly enjoy it.. You have a pretty nice setup there as well, love the new cabinet  :2thumbs: I am really impressed with those pioneers, they give great clarity, clean...

So i pulled out the SLR this weekend to mess around with and get some shots of my speakers.. As soon as the wedding is done some funds will free up to start playing with the big boys, but until then this system does the job damn well, not close to B&W or Klipsch, but at least the lady can...

@ mosfet I'm running them on a Rocksonic PA amp... The same amp also drives both subwoofers. Works quite well, except the amps fans are extremely noisy. Unfortunately because it's a cheap amp there is some humming feedback on the speakers.

Hahaha, they are fine but the cat makes sure that he is far away when the volume gets cranked up.. They are duel 15" infinity dynamics... Fleamarket specials, I'm not 100% sure but I believe they are built in Durban.

So i decided to share a pic of my system... Its not aimed at quality at all, and very very cheap... But she goes extremely loud, and its great for parties :D The 5.1 also works beautifully  :groovy: The logitech's next to the TV work together with the large speakers for more depth in front...

Hi Peter I see, i tried extending them with my Dad's system using male and female RCA's and the volume on the rear's dropped substantially. I havnt tried to completely rewire them, i will give it a shot and let you know! Thanks for the idea. I dont really like replacing OEM cables unless its...

Thanks Peter, I love that system, although they could have made the cables slightly longer, i have a separate sub woofer as the standard one cant cope at higher volumes. I will most certainly! I am looking forward to learning a great deal. I already realized that i know NOTHING just by...

Hello everybodyy!! I decided to join the forum as Poepies87 and i share a equal passion for audio. My addiction to audio started when my dad bought me my first 5" Mecer Subwoofer for my 7th birthday and i was so amazed by how different speakers produce different sounds and that is where my...
