If it is a quad it should work - use the LNB feed from one of the Explora's and connect it to the Ultra

Haven't tested it as I don't use the Shield for DSTV - the picture quality for live sports is not as good as the decoder. AFAIK the 4K DSTV signal can only been seen via the Ultra

I tried to add the Ultra to my two Explora's but it didn't work as I only have a dual LNB. It will work with a quad or more LNB. It needs its own feed.

It is supposed to have but haven't had a chance to test it.

I took the plunge and got the Ultra decoder. The 4K picture is great! It's when you go between channel 202/203 and 216 that you realise how much better the image is. I use an nVidia Shiedl Pro 2019 but actually the Ultra works very well for Netflix and Disney+. A problem I have found is not...
