    Wine barrel as a sub woofer enclosure

    i Was given this authentic french wine barrel by a guy who wanted to throw it away. Do you guys think it will make a decent subwoofer enclosure i don't know what wood it is but it is very hard and stands +- 950mm high and has a diameter on top of +- 500mm. Any suggestions?

    My first build not to sure of it at all

    Ok so i have sanded everything down and filled with body filler and then applied primer which all loed good, then i started spraying the black part of it all but now i am sitting with serious orange peel this is after about 3 coats. Do any of you have any opinions about this or suggestions still...

    Here is the box design i used 20mm ply 6 layer for experimental purposes. Do you think it is better to build a decent x/over? at the moment the box consists of two mids and two tweeters with one cross over all connected in series to there respective connections.
