I have just used the web browser (Chrome ideally) on an old laptop, connected via USB to my DAC. But then there's no remote app for that, unless you use RemoteDesktop on your iPad or something like that. Lately I use Roon with a Raspberry PI endpoint attached to the DAC

Ok, but isn't his point to avoid USB entirely? I need to read about Xmos My DAC does 96KHz on asynchronous USB, 192KHz on SPDIF, how does the converter up sample from the USB input? The goodie he mentions is also R500...
