A couple of years ago i got a sony sa wp16 active sub for cheap.thanks to its port sitting so low to the ground,a mouse made its home inside and it stank of mouse urine and this prompted me to ditch the 10 inch sub and enclosure and use the amp on a 12 inch 200w kenwood car sub in a ported box...

Can anyone recommend a good ,reliable parts supplier who does shipping well too? Also what brand of electrolytic capacitors would you recommend for recapping an amplifier?

I also started out with a Dixon setup.i wasn't pleased with the sound and naturally got better equipment.and if you like to hack and DIY,I'm sure you can easily do lots of stuff to get better sound out of Dixon products.
