I have changed between brands twice in the last 4 years or so, (lightning strikes) and the only thing I have noticed is in the quality and build of the device itself. Speed has never really changed maybe a 3 -5 Mbps here or there. Also not noticed any difference in picture quality or sound...

You could also use Max2play, as an LMS server, and Squeezebox player, Tidal works well as an installed 3rd party app on LMS

Also noted , there will be a monthly fee. I think some functionality will definately be lost especially if your hub is running through the vodacom server.

Tried the jellyfish 250 mbs file on the minix u9 not playable , major stuttering........also tried jellyfish on i7 7700k with hybrid 980ti GPU 250mbs played , 300mbs upwards stuttering every few seconds. Also able to try some 4k movie content , played fine for 10 minutes and then either freezes...
