Got a reply from a different forum. I’ll adjust the initial levels during calibration and go from there. I might do minor tweaks afterwards using the speaker levels in the AMP menu but I’ll see.

Thanks, I can indeed install them at position x and leave the fronts where they are (tm). It’s just that they might be very close to each other so not sure if you’re going to get separation? I’m gauging that they’ll be 120cm apart. Also note that our ceilings are indeed higher than a normal home...

Cool thanks! I’ve got the two ceiling speakers mounted with a current 7.2 setup. The question is more will a 9.2 make that much more of a difference to the listening experience and is it (5.1.4 or 7.1.2) worth the extra money?
