it's about time! I'm tired of having to deal with missing half the picture because the content is 16:9 and DSTV is only broadcasting 4:3! there is a setting under TV installation that allows you to specify your aspect ratio.... they should use this!

You do if you're looking to get HD content from the new HD-PVR... the HD content will only be available through a HDMI cable.

Taking the feed straight from the DSTV decoder to the VCR and then splitting... Makro and Zakspeed don't have it, but I'll try game and Ellies.... Thanks

I need some help here.... I've got 4 "far away" TV points that I want to get a signal to. Currently only one has a TV, but the signal is not amplified so the quality is shocking! Can I get an "all-in-one" box that will split and amplify my signal? (PVR friendly would be a bonus) or would it be...

haha... NOT... no it's only a problem when I select DVD on my amp... going to make a plan to take it in soon... otherwise I might just buy a new one.

Hi guys... ok, I've tried all the cables... nothing changes and it's connecting through my amp to my plasma screen. I don't think it's got progressive scanning... it's quite an old player....

ok... I've got a bit of a problem with my DVD player.... it's a 4('ish) years old Pioneer, and the image is now jumping... similar to when your horizontal scanning is out of whack with the signal... it happened suddenly, on disc it wasn't there, now it is.  ??? ??? ??? Any ideas? I can't see...

Maybe your LNB is loose?
