Load shedding has come to stay...I cannot see ESKOM sorting its mess out, not within the next few years anyway..I think we must accept load shedding periods of 5-6hours.. With the above in mind, what capacity generator will run your house as normal?? My guess is that a 10 - 12Kva will be able...

Thanks gents, got me a DeWalt for a good price, spare blades,dado cutter and moulding attachment. I think the noise from these machines are related to bad setup/alignment.

Some more information...the loudspeakers must be bookshelf or ones that will fit onto loudspeaker stands.. it will be used in the rec/braai room, mainly to listen to cd and dvd, no surround sound here...

The speakers will be used in his recreation room, mainly to listen to dvd's.. No surround sound, plain stereo.
