Glad you're sorted... These things are dirt cheap nowadays, but unfortunately not made to last long at all....

Unfortunately this all depends on your insurer and their processes. Had a great experience and a terrible one. Great experience 5 to 6 days. Terrible experience 4 weeks.

If under warranty I would take it to the dealers to get it fixed. If out of warranty - open the box and have a look at the amplifier board. Sometimes as easy as a blown fuse (could be an external fuse as well - have a look) Smell for burnt components and have a look for blown capacitors.
