After many years I have learnt that using and being obsessed with measurements to drive your enjoyment of your system is the road to hell . Besides, a totally flat system sounds ,sounds well, flat with no dynamics . So just set up your system until you are happy with it, or if sleepless...

Pretty simple as my ENT specialist advised -use the volume control !! Yes,there will be loss of high frequency information the oder you get which nothing can be done about , but the volume control works for me . Tried state of the art hearing aid a while back ....horrendous !
