RS have a range of Vishay Dale resistors which come in 10W I believe and are at least as good as Mills I think for crossover use. They have some other quality ceramic cased wirewounds in 10 - 12W as well as Vishay metal encased types with heat sinks.
"tube rolling" is all part of the fun but definitely try some old production Mullard/Philips/Telefunken/Siemens in there if you get the chance. Also good to have them tested properly to check they are in spec and the 2 triodes are balanced.

Thorens specify Caltex or Texaco Regal Oil B for the TD124 bearing (which is no longer made I believe.) But this is just a light SAE20 turbine oil with no additives, which would be available locally from lubricant specialists.
It looks like that silver part is the thrust plate of the bearing...
My digital source has been the humble Cambridge Dacmagic 100 USB DAC straight connected to my laptop. I dont use any streaming services at the moment and have music library on an external HDD.. an archaic setup for sure! My plan is now to get a WiiM Pro (whenever they might be available again!?)...
