Has anyone seen anything like this locally?

Hi Chris,

I have something similar I developed some months ago.

It's a PCB with motorized pot driver, mute relay, IR Receiver and status LED (which you mount to your front panel).  You will need to supply your own remote (Apple or something similar).  I can get the motorized pot from RS, but only at 50k values.  Alternatively you just find your own motorized pot and plug it in.

Let me know if you want to know more.

Kind regards,
Ian.

Add the input switching via remote but also with support for front panel momentary switches, let's say 5-6 positions, and stick a price ticket on it!

Here is a pic of the unit shown next to an Apple remote and one of the 50K motorized dual pots available from RS Components:

Price is R 750 for the board - populated and tested.  You will need to supply your own IR remote and motorized pot.

I have only 3 left - can order more if needed, but it will take a couple of weeks.

Kind regards,
Ian.

This is the one I have, gathering dust. Made by Lite. Replaced it with one of Ian's R2R remote/volume boards.
