I want to go as small as possible therefore was considering the Bose that I already have. I will research and let you know. Thanks.

Makes sense - I have 5 X Kef Eggs? Excelent speakers for HT.

Then go for the 3 X Bowers and Wilkins M1 - Home Theatre Speakers as listed above. Just post an ad on the forum requesting another pair. Someone might just have another pair to spare. That would be the ideal solution in your case.

General Discussion / Re: 12 Predictions for the future of music

https://www.ft.com/content/83753cb0-0007-4420-a9a9-99a3b9b72778

This morning's edition of the FT has an article related to my point 1) above.

"In the past month Blackstone, KKR and Apollo have poured more than $3bn into buying song copyrights, as a revived music industry hums back towards CD-era revenue levels."

From the article, it seems that rights purchasers increasingly are institutional investors who come with big swinging...wallets. The writer is less than sanguine though, quoting...

"These asset classes are pretty stable most of the time, but you donít have someone making you a promise to pay, like a bond does. Itís like real estate. Itís generally predictable, but if youíre hit with a pandemic, real estate isnít predictable any more."

Clearly they see value here, and why not; take a look at that compelling chart in the article. Oh, and expect your emergent skateboard-riding-juice-drinking-lip-syncing TikTok viral catalyst to 'emerge' more routinely.

Have a look at the Beyerdynamic Lagoon, not cheap at about 9,500 retail ex however they offer "sound personalization" which will allow you to set them up for best results with your hearing.  Bluetooth, ANC and built in mic with Beyerdynamic sound quality.

Hi mods/admins - any update on this issue?
Yep. I'm not seeing the "Follow?" prompt any longer. Been a few days already. The only way to get in is to hit Reply which brings up the "Are you the xxxx on this forum".

Once I logon, the AVForum automatically reappears in the list of followed forums (groups).

Being a Sennheiser fan, I have also tried the BT450's. They were slightly uncomfortable, warm and bass was too neutral and underwhelming.

Suggestions, please?

Try the Sennie HD458 - its exactly the HD450 but with red accents - they are way more comfortable (I have bigish ears and I am a 6ft oke).

Battery power is excellent. Sound is pretty decent!

They can be bought for about under 2k now - just check for specials...
