Found this standing in an abandoned cupboard/drawer at friends' home in Riversdale, Western Cape.
How would one go about getting it in working condition without breaking the bank? (I have never had anything to do with Vinyl or TT's and thus I'm asking the pros)
My thoughts were:
1) get a NAD 3020 and a pair of AR 310 HO speakers I can get on Marketplace from a reputed seller and restore the Garrard
2) restore the Garrard and get the NAD 3020 to run into the existing Pioneer home theater system where most music is played currently.
Help is welcome, especially for restoring the Garrard.
