Bought the little Dearth Vaders with in the car. Picked up those Zaphaudio and Vifa drivers from shonver on the way past on the N1.Quick trip builders warehouse to get some waste pipe, a hole saw and some presstick. Have to use balance control to even it out. But what an improvement. The veils have lifted.
Maybe a touch more base extension, both new version and old go down to about 70Hz, 50 and below is beyond the enclosures. 5.7l. But cleaner base and radically better mids. Starting to see the enthusiasm for alu cone drivers. Tamed the sweeter with -2dB LPAD. Have to find a better way to mount it. Not sure the prestick is industry best prac
