Got myself one, but have a couple of issues and questions. Hopefully some of you might be able to help me out here.
#1. The radio works, but I can not get TuksFM on it. It seems like it stops at 106MHz and TuksFM is at 107.7MHz. I've been told to add a cap to the circuit or replace it with a smaller one to get the radio tuner to go to 108MHz. This correct?
#2. I would like to listen to radio stations in stereo. It seems it is not as simple as just turning the selector switch to STEREO. Seems I also need an MPX Adapter for stereo FM broadcasts. This needs to be plugged into the MPX out socket, and then 2 leads to the MPX In wit an antenna attached to the adapter. Where can I get an MPX Adapter for this radio?
#3. Lastly, this unit works great, but I am a bit concerned about the caps. When I rebuilt an old Guyatone guitar amp, I had all the caps replaced before I powered it up. This one is working fine and sounds sweet on radio and phono. Am I being paranoid about the caps or should I have them replaced. If so, who can I trust with it?
