So my recently aquired Otari has these nab adapters.. unlike the greater majority of other machines out there, these particular adapters work on a clamping process, you screw in the center knob and it tightens on the spindle shaft.
This creates a very nice positive lock to spindle shaft process, which is in all probability better than the traditional trident system...
........ Thing is, I don't like them, I like the traditional "Studer" look horn style NAB adapter...
This is the Otari spindle, its smooth, so no way to lock the traditional NAB adapters I like..
