So, i was reading a reply to one of my posts about how the guy wanted an under counter radio, and i replied to him with a hack i did a few years back.

My sister likes music in the kitchen (busiest room in the house) so, i took apart an old head unit from a car.

The space under the counter that was available, was limited, so i took out the main board, built a slimline enclosure for it and mounted it under counter, inside a dormant drawer.

The faceplate was still too big, so, i detached it from the main unit and painstakingly hardwired the connections, one by one, to extend it to where the most suitable spot was for it.
An unused shelf in a wall mounted spice rack, about half a meter away, ontop of the counter.

Next, i routed extention wires safely to the faceplate's new home, connected it up and, ''EUREKA''

So, my next task is a step up from that project.
I have a portable cd radio that needed new speakers. I have a bedside table thats always cluttered.
I have a tangled mes of charger cables.
I never have a decent space for my phone to charge and i cant fall asleep (when insomnia isnt close by) without music.

You do the math.
