The mat that started it all.
In 2005 I brought in a few wondering who would pay the equivalent of GBP55.00 then for a turntable mat.
Arthur Khoubesserian insisted everyone can use one and they work.
I sold the first 4 in a few weeks despite being a bright blue and going on to LP12 in afromosia. The improved sound immediate and clear.
Arthur did eventually relent and made them black.
Arthur is the pioneer of the now so common naked acrylic platter on his Pink Triangle turntables. At the time it was heresy.
The Achromat is his advancement of this concept and since 2005, he has improved it further.
[Anyone who thinks that wealth is measured in money is blind and narrow minded. Wealth is obviously measured in turntables and records.]
