I must confess, I am a Frank Zappa fan. We have seen a nice stream of vault releases, some really nice shows from all the bands between 1973 and 1978. Some of these shows are even available in high resolution. Now to my great enjoyment, one of the "classic" Zappa albums, the 1971 "The Mothers Live at Fillmore" with the glorious Flo & Eddie duo (warning: don't put this on when your mother in law is around, or maybe do it, for sure she won't be around afterwards) has been "re-released" with some goodies from the vault - 8 CDs in total. And it's available in high resolution as well.

The original "The Mothers Live at Fillmore" album was mixed from 4 shows played during 2 days in June, 1971 at the Fillmore East in New York. The new release contains these complete shows, besides the first 3 or 4 songs of 2 shows all recorded on a new 8 track recording device, sounding superb!

Highly recommended!

Cheers,
