Bread looks fantastic! But how is the colander related? I'm guessing that the bread was done in the oven and the colander is your mini-braai(?).

Agreed, butter is better. Amazing looking meal though :D

Funny story, my wife is a dietician and back in the day it was only low fat margarine, butter was the enemy filled with animal fat.

Now it's only butter, because it's the least processed and the margarine is filled with evil.

Can't say I miss the margarine though.....

No butter or margarine for me.  Just bread.  That way you really get the chance to rate the bread.  At worst, a touch of salt.
When the sun is dying, we'll cross the causeway of no memory.....

I LOVE good butter. I read the USA is banning hydrogenated fats as used in many margarines.
