Not really Audio, but hey. I decided to build a TV lift using gas lifts. Issue was that motorised units require quite a lot of depth, and steppers require constant power. I wanted something I could manually open and close... because, Loadshedding. I also want something thin enough to feel like part of the bed.

The unit is 13cm. deep. It also has space for dual steppers if I ever get tired of closing it. It has an arrangement of four gaslifts to control a smooth rise, and then to close without a hard bump.

I have the design in Fusion 360 if anyone wants a copy. The gas lift setup was designed separately, because Fusion doesn't allow mechanical movement and load testing in the Hobby version anymore.

Don't judge the mess, we're currently building.
