Followed by what seems to be a second press of Mingus Ah Um.  Either way, it’s great

Akoustic Band; Chick Corea, John Patitucci and Dave Weckl. “Life is a wisp, and I like it crisp and refreshingly to the point, instantaneously revealing all there is; away with pretension, just see the intention and the music of life is yours.” ~ Chick Corea. How did I spent my Sunday afternoon? I built a Geddon clone to drive this LP12 after I fried the Valhalla, and am waiting for spares (unavailable in South Africa) from overseas. How will I spend my Sunday evening? Playing great music on the beautiful turntable, of course!

I love music - analog and digital. Even listening to the Blues makes me happy. During the day I coach and counsel, after hours I indulge in my second passion - listening to vinyl and restoring turntables. Some I keep, some I sell...

A Certain Ratio - Sextet

If you count the cassette only album (From The Graveyard to the Ballroom), their third album.  Post-punk meets funk and goes to Ian Curtis’s wake.  A few gloomier numbers, some seriously happy horns and bass on others.  Not bad for the ‘also-rans’ of the Factory scene

Chic Corea brings so much pleasure to cause! Great music and a real treat. I woul love to see Chic perform live especially in a trio session. The RTF quartet is stuff of legend bu a trio set brings a special experience forth. I've had the privilage to see Pattitucci live in an acoustic set up as well as Weckel live in a different quartet set up. What can I say? Great music lives through these guys and never ends to amaze me!

Right.  It’s ok.   You listen to plenty other stuff, we know most of your taste is impeccable.
