She’s got perfect skin... Scotland’s single malt whisky is great, and so is their music! 33 years old today… #vintage #vinyl #redwine #rattlesnakes

I love music - analog and digital. Even listening to the Blues makes me happy. During the day I coach and counsel, after hours I indulge in my second passion - listening to vinyl and restoring turntables. Some I keep, some I sell...

I was given this with a whole pile of stuff by someone who was moving. I thought it was dreadful but had to give it a chance! FTGH - collection in Kensington Jhb. Condition not great.

“This is a song Charles Manson stole from the Beatles; we are stealing it back!” Love them or hate them, this is a brilliant album, and the perfect way to start ending Friday the 13th... #vintage #vinyl #redwine #rattleandhum

^^^Manson didn’t steal ‘Helter Skelter’ from the Beatles, he stole ‘Piggies’ primarily, then named his apocalypse ‘Helter Skelter’.  He was more influenced by The Beach Boys and cultivated a friendship with Dennis Wilson.  Meanwhile he enlisted Bobby Beausoliel who was a musician and actor.  He drew up a list of who to kill to be top of the pops, the Beatles topped that list.  Bono knows nothing

“In Berlin, by the wall
You were five foot ten inches tall
It was very nice
Candlelight and Dubonnet on ice
We were in a small cafe
You could hear the guitars play
It was very nice
It was paradise…” - Lou never disappoints #vintage #vinyl #berlin #whisky #saturdaysongs
