Nice batch of S/H vinyl arrived this morning by courier from Mr Vinyl so Iíve been accompanying work and the evening before load shedding with:

Cowboys International - The Original Sin
Psychedelic Furs - Mirror Moves
Simple Minds - Empires and Dance (from their pre-pompous period)
Fad Gadget - Under the Flag
Claudio Gizzi - Andy Warholís Flesh for Frankenstein OST

And one I picked up at a market at the weekend:

The Enid - Touch Me
When the sun is dying, we'll cross the causeway of no memory.....

Der Kosmische rock:

Amon Duul 2 - Yeti

Possibly their masterpiece, possibly the birth of Deutsche Kosmische Musik (or Krautrock as it is also known) whatever, still brilliant, still unmatched, still not my favourite of theirs (try choosing from their first five albums - all are favourites!)

RSD was good.

Early Chick Corea, recorded in 1967, released in 1973.

Not really. I quite like the idea of only one "now playing" thread, no matter the format. As long as it can be played on a turntable, of course.

Next RSD find;
"My song"
K Jarrett with European band incl Garbarek on somewhat mellowed sax - one of his more pleasant recordings.

Difficult to know for sure when it comes to old ECM releases, but I do believe this is the 1st pressing. And it's mint.
