Tonight, I have opened a really good bottle of red wine, and am lifting my glass to Piet Botha - Goeienag, Piet.

I love music - analog and digital. Even listening to the Blues makes me happy. During the day I coach and counsel, after hours I indulge in my second passion - listening to vinyl and restoring turntables. Some I keep, some I sell...

Osibisa live at Royal festival hall ' Black magic night' . Utterly entertaining! Must have been an absolute treat to see them live.

Every time I see that lovely turntable wearing those strange shoes I try to ignore them but just canít.  Are they truly better?

No, they are not. But the bottom board, holding the feet, is off while the Valhalla is out waiting for spares from the UK.
Once the Valhalla works again, and is refitted, the bottom board will go back, and she will stand on her own four feet :-)
Currently being played with an Armageddon clone PSU.

Absolute beaut of a pressing. Still need to compare to the vinyl lovers remaster pressing. Thanks @fdlsys
