So i bought a REAL vintage but it was knackered beyond belief. some people should be shot for not looking after their equipment

so you sitting with two iconic mechanical object here

1 LP12
2 SME 3009 MK11 improved tonearm

what did I have to do to get it running

- I machined a new rider weight.
- rewired the tonearm and power supply
- having anti skate weight machined.
- new stylus
- removed the slop form the counterweight.
- feet will be done by the weekend. have some spare.
- suspension re adjusted and operating 100%
- all parts clean up and serviced
- no lid but not bothering with it.

It might  come up for sale. I will entertain offers (and this is not a F***en Rega so be realistic  ;D)

I must admit is sound incredibly decent - it doesn't have any of the upgrades but this is a original and this started the linny craze way back - ORIGINAL LINN SOUND
