To the gurus out there, I am out of my depth when it comes to networking.
I have just replaced a 5 Port TP Link Gigabit switch (TL-SG1005D) with a Netgear GS108 8 port switch. Speed jumped from around 70Mbps to around 265Mbps - What the kucf !!!
They are both gigabit - what is happening?
Is the TP Link defective? I have two of them and they perform exactly the same. Or is this part of their "smart" traffic management thing?
