I have a listening room that has few usable boundary walls, so am considering some off-the-wall options.

The speakers are a pair of Lowther Acousta's, which prefer wall and/or corner positioning to help with the bass frequencies.

Opposite my listening position are two perfect corners - up on the ceiling!!

How about I mount the cabinets upside-down on the ceiling, angled down to point at the listening couch?
They could also be mounted high up on the side walls with the horn-mouth on the wall.

Crazy, mad as a hatter?

The way I see it, a surface is a surface:  floor, wall, ceiling.
I remember a kid, lying on the floor looking up and imagining that the ceiling was the floor.
