Audeze owners/user on the forum
« on: April 19, 2021, 09:43:08 AM »
I'm trying to get a feel for the number of Audeze users in SA to see if we can not convince Audeze US for more support here in SA.
If you own a set (whether working or broken), please indicate so.

I've got 3 pairs in total, although I was only allowed to place a single vote (placed on LCD2).

I attempted to edit the poll but the option to allow more than one response is not available on the edit screen from the looks of it.
Can a Mod maybe assist please to allow multiple responses?

I have one pair of each (both working)

- LCD2 Fazor (2014)
- Sine

Another point of failure on the LCD2s seems to be the narrow strip of fake leather between the wood and leather around the cups.

The LCD-X and LCD-XC were also popular models. I think both are still available for sale.

Audeze should have sales data for SA. I expect that would be a lot more accurate than this pole?

I think export data for headphones may indeed help but be flawed as lots of headphones get self imported / Amazon / carried on a plane.

I thought about that ... and about how SA agents scoff at grey/parallel imports.  My suspicion is that Audeze support will cater for official imports only.  Maybe I am wrong and Audeze sets a whole new standard for after-sales service.

From a support point of view I understand that.  From a footprint / user interest point of view itís valuable.

If the export figure say X but users equate to 2x something is wrong that they might want to address?
